Epstein (1880-1959) was born in New York and was a member of the London avant-garde group of sculptors. He made his name as a sculptor of mouments and portraits. Octavo. Illustrated throughout with full page photographs. Original vellum, lettering to spine and top edge gilt. Vellum lightly rubbed, book block proud: a very good copy.
