First Edition, First Printing SIGNED by Nathaniel Hawthorne on a laid in signature. This First Issue book has with the correct ads dated "March 1, 1850 and the misprint "reduplicate" for "repudiate" at line 20 page 21. A wonderful copy of this TRUE FIRST EDITION with light wear to the edges. The boards are crisp with minor wear. The pages are clean with NO writing, marks or bookplates in the book.
