8vo, 278 pages. Beige cloth-covered boards with red spine and gilt accents with bumped edges. Ex-library copy, with normal library markings, stamps, and labels. Firm binding; no loose pages. Sticker damage on spine; dust jacket with a small tear at bottom front, now encased in a clear, protective cover. Signed by Mr. Stuart on front flyleaf (no inscription): "With all good wishes, Jesse Stuart." Gift inscription inside front cover. No other writing or marks observed; lightly tanned pages.
