Item description from seller

Presentation copy "from the author". Complete in 4 parts. These being nos 8, 9, 10, & 11 of Bankfield Museum Notes. 151 pages with numerous line drawings and illus of looms principally of Africa Indonesia and the Solomon Islands. The introduction claims that "a great deal has been written about primitive weaving tools", which is a little daunting as this is the only book dedicated to the subject come my way in 26 years. Ex-library copy, with occasional small stamps and bookplates. Covers rather soiled. Very good.
