Published by Rathan Publishing Company in 1947, here is the first hardback printing of J.W.Heriies' STORM ISLAND and other stories signed, dated and inscribed by the author to a previous owner in blue ink to the front free end paper. Red cloth binding, black spine lettering, 216 pages, the book is in very good condition with some spotting to the end papers and a few pages thereafter plus some spotting to the extreme outsides of the page ages and a few bumps to the edges of the boards. The dust jacket is fair only with some general spotting to the covers plus some chipping to the edges and corners and some loss to the top and base of the spine.
