large, red & gilt illustrated ( nice gilt illustration of the "Teatro Solis" in Montevideo Uruguay on cover) clothbound 8vo. no dustwrapper. vg cond. binding is tight. the inner hinges have been repaired. spine is sunfaded, frayed a little at the top & bottom. covers have a few spots & scratches (mostly the front) but the gilt illustration on the front is in good shape. cover cloth at spine gutter & front cover a bit wrinkled. corners are a little bumped & rubbed. top edge gilt & in vg cond., bright but scratched & spotted a little. foredge & bottom edge have a few smudges. contents free of all markings. first edition so stated.
