Item description from seller

Small folio (9" x 12") privately printed by Berlin for friends and bound in flexible dark brown leather with gilt lettering on the front cover; including "Harold Arlen" in the bottom right corner; 63 pages. Includes sheet music for all 15 of Berlin's songs from the hit musical starring Ethel Merman, including "Anything You Can Do" and "There's No Business Like Show Business." INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the composer on the front endpaper: "To Harold/with merry Xmas/and love to/you and Annie/from/Irving." A fictionalized version of the life of Annie Oakley, a sharpshooter who starred in Buffalo Bill's Wild West, and her romance with fellow sharpshooter Frank E. Butler. This preparation of songs from one of Berlin's best-loved musicals was apparently privately prepared for presentation and is quite scarce. Harold Arlen, of course, was an American composer of popular music perhaps best known for his songs for the 1939 film THE WIZARD OF OZ (lyrics by Yip Harburg), including "Over the Rainbow," which won him the Oscar for Best Original Song, one of 8 Academy Awards for which he was nominated. Among Arlen's many other songs are "Let's Fall in Love," "Stormy Weather," "The Man That Got Away," "That Old Black Magic," "Blues in the Night," and "Come Rain or Come Shine.".
