Tall 8vo., pictorial green cloth, stamped in black, in dust jacket; 127 pages First Edition. Signed by Arundel on the half title page. Also signed on the same page by illustrator Wesley Dennis. The story of a small African boy who learns it often takes more courage to conserve wild life than to kill. Jocelyn Arundel, born June 16, 1930, held a position with the International Union for the Protection of Nature in the US after working in the Brussels branch of the IUCN. It was this work environment, coupled with an "unforgettable" African photographic/study safari, that prompted the writing of this book. Arundel has written a number of books on conservation-related issues for children.
