First edition, third printing. Signed twice by Rosa Parks on the half title page and inscribed there to the former owner, Eddie Holland-- quite possibly the Motown artist who was part of the Holland-Dozier-Holland songwriting team. [viii], 192 pp. Bound in publisher's maroon paper-covered boards over purple cloth spine lettered in gilt. Near Fine with light fading at foot and minor toning to contents. In a Very Good+ unclipped dust jacket with fading to spine and small closed tear to crown; modest rubbing to edges. A signed autobiography of the late activist who famously declined to give up her bus seat to a white passenger in Montgomery, Alabama in 1955, inspiring the nascent Civil Rights Movement.
