A lovely Association copy: BEAUTIFULLY INSCRIBED BY MARGARET OTTO TO HER HUSBAND STUART ("MR. SNOWMAN") on the front free endpaper. A very sharp copy to boot of the 1954 stated 1st edition. Tight and Near Fine (a touch of light spotting at the panels) in a crisp, easily Near Fine dustjacket. Wonderful, tender illustrations throughout by Susanne Suba, who also designed the dustjacket.
