He married Mary Barnard Dec. 15, 1629 in High Lever Church, Essex, England, and they arrived in Boston in 1631 on the ship Lyon. Various historians have told of his journeyings to Salem, Plymouth, back to Salem, to Seekonk, Massachusetts, and finally settling in Providence, Rhode Island. He was the father of many descendants. This book contains the genealogical records of the Roger Williams Family Association - collected during the past sixty-six years. 6715L.
