LYNN CAMPION, a photojournalist, grew up in Colorado, where horses, riding, and photography were her major interests. She later moved to Montana where she ranched and raised a family while pursuing a career in photography. Campion became nationally recognized in the cutting-horse world when she won seven major non-pro championships. She is the author of Training and Showing the Cutting Horse and lives in Hailey, Idaho, and Manhattan, Montana, with her husband, artist Ted Waddell.
