First edition stated. BOLDLY SIGNED BY McKUEN ON THE FRONT FREE ENDPAPER. Fine (SEE BELOW) in bright, crisp, price clipped dust jacket. Hardcover, marker ribbon. Illustrated with drawings by Heather Preston. Internally clean and unmarked. The front free endpaper with McKuen's signature has toward the bottom the remnants for an address sticker and the notation " Christmas1983". An imaginative, inspiring, day-to-day companion diary from leading inspirational author and poet Rod McKuen. Each of the days of the year has a short, perceptive McKuen though or axiom. Added at the year's conclusion is a special , delightfully fanciful "Month of Sundays", with 31 more daily entries.
