Used hardback, stated first printing: October 2002, with number line 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1, in very good condition. INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY AUTHOR AS FOLLOWS: "Having you as a reader is a great incentive to new work." Pliny, Ep 4.26 Best wishes Albert Bell. Illustrated with drawins by William Martin Johnson. 246 pages. Burgundy boards with gold gilt lettering on the front and spine edge look almost like new. The pages are like new and almost appear to be unread. The pictorial dust jacket has only minimal edgewear with some color bleeding on the inside at the lower spine edge and the front top edge. Has an autographed copy seal on the front and that is slightly scuffed and faded.
