Signed on the series page "with compliments" by the principal member of the Committee, Orison Blunt and dated 1867. Prior ownership of the Library of the Navy Department with their bookplate and ink stamp ownership. Shallow loss of cloth at crown and lightly frayed with short tears at base of spine. Endpage partial splits in gutters of hinges have been archivally reinforced with japanese (kozo) paper.
