First PB Edition. Signed by Author. 17.8 x 11cm. 249 pages. Bohlen is one of the few men in the world who knows that the Russians are planning a surprise attack on China. To stop it, all he has to do is have the head of the Politburo assassinated: one life to prevent a nuclear holocaust. But it could be easier to wipe out an entire planet than to kill one man. Signed by Guy Richards on title page in green ink and dedicated to 'Ian & Rosemary with very best wishes' dated Oct '81. Condition: Outer edge of pages collectively age discoloured. Slight yellowing of page edges internally, otherwise appears unused. Clean, tight binding. VGC.
