First edition hard cover book in good condition with dust jacket in good- condition. Apparently inscribed by the author to the front free endpaper. Jacket generally browned and grubby with fading to spine. Numerous small tears and chips to edges of jacket at head and foot of spine and to corners, some repaired with tape. Fading to spine and to edges of boards. Spotting to edges of text block. Browning to endpapers with some foxing to edges of lightly tanned pages in places throughout. 8vo. 379pp.
