First edition. Illustrations by Robert E. Hintsa. Tall octavo. 315, [5] pp. Comb-bound covers. Front cover with a small faint stain and gift inscription verso, covers with moderate wear including a corner crease on the rear cover and final leaf, very good. Inscribed by the author on the title page. From the introduction: "These excellent recipes come from famous chefs, home economists and men and women I have known for many years who have one 'marvelous' recipe that you only occasionally are fortunate enough to discover." Most of the recipes are attributed with the name and location of the creator. Three copies in *OCLC* (LOC, Harvard, Penn) and a single copy of a second printing.
