Small 4to quarter bound hardcover with black boards and dark blue cloth spine with silver gilt titling on the spine. Inscribed to Sterling by the author on the title page, dated 10.26.94. First book in the Gap Cycle, originally meant to be a novella that captured the dynamic between Hero/Villain/Victim. The condition of the book is Very Good (binding tight; normal aging to the edges of the text block; minimal to no shelf wear on the bottom edges). The condition of the dust jacket is Very Good (mylar wrapped; sticker residue near the tail end of the spine on the mylar; little to no shelf wear on the bottom edge). 229pp.
