Expos� of Roosevelt's betrayal of Republican ideals: "When the Republican Party has been seized by one man it has ceased to be true to its name, its record and its purpose. It is time to either remove the usurper or abandon the party." INSCRIBED by the author to Chicago industrialist Frank P. Leffingwell, who was involved in lumber & railroad companies. Hardcover, full green cloth, gilt titling. Shows some wear, corners bumped & rubbed, stains on front cover; full-page author's inscription on free endsheet, with his pencilled guidelines roughly erased; Leffingwell's name obliquely rubberstamped on title page. Text clean; 205 pages + 7 pages publisher/author's ads - he wrote on Robert G. Ingersoll and was prepared, presumably if paid, to lecture on "Conservative Government, Ethics vs. Religion and Kindred Subjects." Includes cartoon, photos, text of the U.S. Constitution. Size: Duodecimo.
