Henderson with best wishes Ted Alexander 22/5/09 Shotley". 5 pieces of Ransome/Ransome Society ephemera (postcards etc) included in an envelope tipped in inside the rear cover. "Arthur Ransome was, more often than not, a man on the move. Between his first arrival in London in 1902 and death in 1967, he occupied 25 homes in England as well as other lodgings at home and abroad. This book is an account of these homes, describing something of his domestic circumstances, the lifestyle that he enjoyed, his activities and writing whilst in each place."
