Very Good (bit of wear & some discoloration covers; contents clean & tight). Tall 8vo., brown boards, stamped in gilt, with brown cloth spine; 53 pages First Edition. Signed inscription from Mitchell on a front blank page: "With sincere regards, Frank Adams Mitchell. Christmas, 1914." Also laid in are seven unpublished poems (at least they are not in this book), including "Adjusting The Focus," "Old Friend," "Some Thoughts On Idle Tears," "The Boys In The Booths," "Clem Smead," "Get Busy," Marketing The Mouse Trap" and "The Visitor's Version." The poems are typed on extremely poor-quality paper and there are repairs to tears with clear, archival tape on the verso of each page. Also, with a four-page pamphlet containing "To Frank Adams Mitchell's Friends" by Charles L. Benjamin and a promotional card from the publisher stating that 90 copies of the book are still available for sale. An interesting copy of a very scarce title by this Chicago-based businessman and part-time poet.
