Item description from seller

New York: Abbeville, 2011. First Edition. A fine copy in cocoa-colored cloth with silver lettering on the spine and front panel in a fine dustwrapper featuring a sumptuous Central Park scene from McCabe's amazing camera. Hundreds of his full-color photographs of Central Park's famous, wild Ramble are included in this wonderful book, together with a great map of the Ramble which serves as the endpapers. There is an interesting article on birds by Marie Winn, and a hilarious essay about Robert Moses and the Ramble written by E. B. White in 1955 and reprinted here. This book will serve as a crucial piece of Cerntral Park for many years to come. Inscribed by McCabe.
