Review
Although fragmentary, the importance of the documents contained within this volume cannot be exaggerated. (Matthew Morgenstern, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Journal of Jewish Studies, Vol. XLVIII, No. 2, Autumn 1997)
The high quality that one has come to expect from the DJD series under the editorial leadership of Emmanuel Tov continues to be fufilled...The texts are presented accurately, and the book is generally easy to use. (Journal of Jewish Studies)
'...All the editors should be thanked for producing reliable editions of the texts. This DJD volume, published without delay, more than satisfactorily justifies the new policy of open access to the scrolls and the co-operation of an expanded team of scholars.' (Jnl Theological Studies)
Although a good number of the texts in this volume have already been published in preliminary form, the exemplary learning and care with which they are here presented continues to offer new challenges to the scholar of Second Temple Judaism. (George WE Nickelsburg, Brill, Leiden 1999)
