NYC: Dial, 1931. 1st edition, inscribed, presentation copy, by author on FFE, VG/. No jacket. Book has wear & fraying to spine ends, bumping & bending to corners, edge wear to upper front panel, dulling to spine (lettering barely legible). Illustrated with 16 b & w photos. The author is the definition of the wanderer. Wonderful read as she travels in France, northern Africa, the Balearics, Jugo-Slavia, Iceland, Gotland, Italy and Soviet Russia. Despite its less than great condition, this is well worth reading. I rescued it from a throw-away bin. 213 pp. BP.
