About this Item
Lightly soiled vellum, or some facsimile thereof. Inscribed in the year of publication by the medical pioneer William Osler. Additionally, a short, signed note from Osler has been affixed to the front end paper, informing us that he himself has suggested Mrs. Allen edit the present publication. The recipient of the note (and the inscribee) is D'Arcy Power, who, like his friend, was both a physician and historian of medicine. Power (as he is addressed in the note) merits several mentions in Cushing's biography; his bookplate his where it should be. Seller Inventory # 004107
