This is believed to be an original drawing by Thomas Hastings (1860 -1929) because it is in the style & period of the artist and architect; paper size: 7 x 10in; signed by hand on the drawing "HASTINGS"; date & subject of drawing is unknown; He was a well-known architect, he worked in the office of McKim, Mead, and White, New York City, and in 1886 went into partnership with John M. Carr�re. They designed the New York Public Library and the Metropolitan Opera House. Hastings's designs after the death of Carr�re (1911) include the Memorial Amphitheater in the National Cemetery at Arlington, Virgina.; Studied: Columbia University, New York City, Ecole Des Beaux-Arts, Paris (1884); just a little rubbing to edges of paper otherwise in VERY GOOD COND.
