Add to basket1st edition, 1955. Published by the renowned port and sherry merchants of Sandeman [now the House of Sandeman] founded in 1790. Inscribed by the publishers on f.e.p. to 'Freddie Hyams, 3rd Oct 1955' [possibly related to/connected with the viticulturalist, Edward Hyams?] 63 pages printed and bound on red cloth boards in Good+ condition throughout - boards are slightly faded but contents are clean and tidy and the book is tightly bound. B. & w. illustrations and photographs, including one of the well-known company trade-mark, the black, caped 'Don'. Contents focus on the history of port wine and the history of the foundation of the House of Sandeman. Loose-leaf A5 insert of a list of Sandeman ports and sherries from the era included. 8vo.
