From the back cover: "In this richly illustrated autobiography, Gotz Hagmuller presents a fascinating story, full of adventures and travels in many parts of the world from early on in his life. Born in 1939 in Vienna, he became an architect but also made documentary films in South America, East Asia and Africa. His best known film 'Kanga Mussa: An African Emperor's Legendary Pilgrimage from Mali to Mecca' was praised with awards at international film festivals and shown in cultural cinemas of Austria and other countries. In 1979 he finally moved to Nepal and chose an ancient pilgrims hostel in Bhaktapur for his future residence. His major concern was the preservation of historical buildings and towns. He became one of the most important experts and advisors in cultural heritage preservation for Austrian and other international aid agencies." Jagadamba Press. 2017. First edition.
