Book has a publication date of 1985, but author's inscription is dated to 1987, so it may have taken a couple of years for the book to be available. Presentation copy from the translator to Sir Denis Wright, UK Ambassador to Iran. First volume carries a detailed inscription by the author describing the difficulties involved in obtaining permission to publish this book in Iran, and is also signed by Denis Wright. From the library of Sir Dennis Wright. Near Fine condition 2 volume hardback set with dustjackets. Dimensions: Each volume approx 245mm high x 175mm wide x 25mm deep. Very scarce set.
