About this Item

From the personal collection of Dr. Don Noble, Professor Emeritus of the University of Alabama and the host of Alabama Public Television's 'Bookmark' author interview program. SIGNED by BOTH Caresse Crosby (on front free-end) and by artist Prentiss Taylor (on front paste-down; this was Taylor's copy). Caresse Crosby Gallery showing invite with penciled notations laid in. Unfortunate previous moisture took a toll on the DJ causing wrinkling/discoloration &c. but the jacket is otherwise fully intact and preserved nicely under new mylar. Green boards, black spine, gold lettering; lower edge of book block also evidences long-ago moisture (some light discoloration/warping) but the DJ does seem to have taken the brunt of the attack. Block is straight, interior free of notations, hinges are tight. Despite vintage flaws, this is an incredible association copy. Additional details and photos happily provided upon request.
