Handsomely bound in 3/4 black linen cloth spine stamped brightly in gold and tan cloth boards. Very clean and tight, virtually unread. With "March 21, 1966" on the front endpaper and Signed by A.E. Hotchner on the half-title page. Laid in is a letter in its original envelope, carelessly opened, dated 1972, on Hotchner's personal stationery which reads: " Dear Mr. Robuck--May you win out in your fight! The important thing is not to despair. The Lord's ways are mysterious indeed. Sincerely, A E Hotchner." In a splendid dust jacket with the price of $5.95 at the top of the inside front flap. And with a photo of a bearded Hemingway on the front panel; a photo of AE. Hotchner & Hemingway standing in front of trees graces the rear panel. Hotchner has been an editor, biographer, novelist and playwright. In 1948, he metErnest Hemingway, and the two were close friends until Hemingway's death in 1961. Hotchner wrotePapa Hemingway, his 1966 biography of Hemingway, whose work he had also adapted for plays and television.
