First printing. SIGNED BY LIPPMAN ON THE FRONT FREE ENDPAPER. Front hinbge neatly reapired with archival material. About fine in a very good dustjacket which is lightly chipped at the spine ends. $2.50 price intact on front flap. Lippman is considered as the "Father of Modern Journalism". He won two Pulitizer Prizes during his career which saw him invent various concepts of journalism as well as such stock terms as "stereotype" and "cold war".

Shipping within the USA:
Priority shipping is $15.00 for delivery by either UPS or Priority Mail. Delivery is within 2-6 business days and includes tracking and insurance. Economy shipping is $7.00 for delivery bu US Media Mail with delivery confirmation. Our shipping prices may be higher than others but consider that all items are carefully wrapped in bubblewrap, cushioning material, and secure packaging - you won't receive a book dropped into a plain paper envelope! Items are shipped daily, usualy within 24 hours of receipt of order. Customers with special shipping/handling requests and directions should chose our regular shipping.
Orders of multi-volume sets and unusually heavy books may incur additional charges. You will be notified before the order is processed.
