Laid in is an interesting autograph note signed by da Cunha to the book's recipient: "Dear Mrs. Copeland; In the course of my conversation with Lady Weir last Saturday evening, she expressed a desire to have a copy of this monograph. It is a bit dated, and much has happened in my artisitic and professional life since. Even so, as I am mailing one to Lady Weir, I'd thought that perhaps you may also be interested. Best wishes, Julio Alejandro." A collection of the artist's works that were on view at the University Gallery at the University of Delaware and the Sande Webster Gallery in Philadelphia.
