4tos., variable pagination, illustrated from b&w photographs. Blue cloth over boards, titled in gilt along the spine. The complete run of 16 quarterly issues, approximately 560 pp. The rear wrapper of two early issues bear the address label, with postage, for Peter Palmquist, noted photo historian and author, occasionally he has noted a price in ink. Fine. "A forum and marketplace for connoisseurs of antique and collectable photographica." Each issue contained illustrated articles on a particular subject, photographer, or type of equipment, frequently publishing price guides, and occasionally a mail-bid auction. Largely dealing with the nineteenth century, there is an extensive price list for images by known contemporary photographers. An excellent resource and reference.
