Inscribed by Corey Ford on a prefatory blank leaf. Recounts the story of the secret Culper Spy Ring during the Revolutionary War and how daring patriots gathered information, and using codes, invisible inks and hanging laundry, passed that information to General Washington and the Continental Army. Ford (1902-69) published 30 books and more than 500 magazine articles, many of them marked with a gregarious sense of humor. From the library of Emmy Award-winning screenwriter David Lloyd, with his name on the front flyleaf. Octavo: 358 p. Original blue cloth binding, with dark blue and silver stamping.
