Inscribed First Edition. 8vo. 97pp. Light Brown cloth, lettered with dark brown background to front and spine and lettered in dark brown to back. Inscribed in ink by Pound on ffep. "Dr. Persion from E. Pound March 1955". Matthew Persion was Pound's dentist while he was in St Elizabeth's mental hospital, Washington D.C., where he was confined from 1945 to 1958 after he as found unfit to plead in his trial for treason. A fine copy in a fine dust jacket with small nick on the top edge and an almost imperceptible two inch split at the top of the front fold . (Gallup A63a.).
