Stated First Edition. There's an inscription on the title page. It reads 'Stasia, There is a magic here and it is white.' Below that you can see the signatures of the poet and painter (see photo). The book is in very good condition. The front cover and spine look pretty much perfect. The white rear cover has a small crease at its bottom corner, and some scratching a couple of inches below the top edge. The interior of the book is near-perfect. The back cover corner crease can be just made out at the bottom corner of the preceding page, the blank rear end paper. The pages are very clean and free of any conspicuous wear. There are no markings. No attachments. And with the exception of the two signatures, no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. The book is also very solidly bound from cover to cover with nicely tight pages. Jasmine Lamb 'writes, teaches yoga, gardens, and works with people in her ListeningArts practice. She lives in Vermont. Rosy Lamb is a painter and sculptor. She has shown in the United States, Paris, Montréal and Hong Kong. She lives and works in Paris. Here is how her Wikipedia profile reads: 'Rosy Lamb (born 1973 in Tamworth, New Hampshire) is an expatriate American sculptor, painter and author living in Paris, France. She graduated from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and became the assistante d'atelier of the sculptor Jean Cardot, before her work gained attention in its own right. Lamb was homeschooled by her parents, both artists, with her four siblings in New Hampshire. She entered the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, from which she graduated with concentrations in sculpture and painting. Lamb's art traces three axis-- drawings, painting and sculpture--which inevitably intersect. She draws in conté, charcoal and mixed media; she paints on linen or board, mixed media on plaster, or with watercolor; she sculpts in plaster, or bronze, or resin and mixed media on plaster. In Europe, she has shown in the Luxembourg Garden, sponsored by the Sénat, or the French Senate. She exhibited a painting at the BP Portrait Award 2010 show at London's National Portrait Gallery. In the United States, she has had solo shows in Philadelphia, Boston and New Jersey. She was awarded the George Coulin prize for sculpture by the Institut de France in 2002, and held an Artist in Residence fellowship at the Cité internationale des arts in Paris from 2001 to 2003. In December 2013 she published a picture book, Paul Meets Bernadette, a simple story about two fish. This was achieved with the help of her father, Albert Lamb, also a picture book author. Kirkus Reviews described the book as a "lovely, debatably romantic ode in oils". I've been reading some of Jasmine Lamb's poems. Talented family. She writes beautifully, touchingly, powerfully. See if you can read the one from the photographs.…

Store description
Many of the books I will be selling can accurately be described as ranging from somewhat rare to very rare. In some cases there won't be another copy for sale anywhere on the Internet. There doesn't seem much point, for you or me, in offering something that so many others are already offering. Subject matter will range very widely, creating the possibility for people with very different interests to find something that excites them. As regards pricing, my primary goal is to sell the book. Most often I would expect my book to be the least expensive option on the Internet taking into account an appropriate comparison(what is the condition, is the dust jacket present, is the book signed, is it a first printing, etc.). More important than selling the book I want to make sure that you know, as much as is possible, exactly what you are getting. To that end, you'll notice that my descriptions of condition tend to be lengthy, and that there will always be photographs to help you draw your own conclusions. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about a given book. As regards international shipping, the first class or standard rates I charge are based on a package weight between 2 and 3 pounds. If the book is on the thin side there is a possibility that I can securely pack it up under 2 pounds in weight. If so, the shipping price will drop by around $11.00 or $12.00 to $26.00-27.00. Canada, which is less expensive drops to $18.00. You can contact me before purchasing a book for an estimate on the shipping cost. If you buy the book and it weighs in below 2 pounds you'll get a Reduced Shipping message and amount with the invoice and you'll see the lowered final cost before you make your payment.…
