Out Of This World, Graham Swift, Viking, 1988, Signed First Edition, First Impression The author's fourth novel. The story is told by alternating narrators, a father and his estranged daughter. As each recalls the past, the reasons for their alienation become clearer. The title page has been signed by the author with no personal dedication. In near fine condition, the binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. There is a small crease mark to the top corner of the front board and slight sunning to the top edges of the front and back boards. The unclipped dust jacket is in very good condition with wear to the corners of the front cover, damage to the top edge of the spine, nibbling and a small nick to the bottom edge of the spine and loss to the top edge of the back cover. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
