Dutch Fehring is best remembered for many accomplishments ( including longtime baseball coach at Stanford) other than the one day that he played as catcher for the Chicago White Sox, June 25th, 1934. But he always remembered tagging out Lou Gehrig at home as he tried for an inside-the-park home run. Near Fine, light foxing top edge, in a Fine dust jacket. Size: 8vo - over 7�" - 9�" tall.
