True author is Richard Hosmer Adams Blum: Born: 7 October 1927 (age 97 years), Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States. Known for his imaginative and versatile writing style, drawing comparisons to Graham Greene, Umberto Eco, Melville, and Hawthorne. His fiction spans genres including suspense, medical science fiction, and historical novels. The Medical School described as a unique blend of science fiction and medical horror, likened to the works of Edgar Allan Poe.
