First UK Edition. Publisher s original blue cloth titled in gilt on spine panel. Some foxing to the fore-edge otherwise a bright and attractive VG+ copy. In the VERY RARE D/W priced 9s net to the spine (as called for). The VG D/W is browned to the spine and has a chip at the top right hand corner of the spine removing the TE of PRIVATE. Uncommon in D/W. The author's third book, preceded only by THE FORBIDDEN TERRITORY and SUCH POWER IS DANGEROUS.
