Add to basketStated Third Printing of the First Edition. The book is bound in green linen with title and author on the spine. Spine is faded and rubbed. Corners are sharp and the binding is square and firm. There is foxing on preliminary pages through the half title page and on the last two blank pages and the back paste-down. Inscribed by Bernard Malamud on the front free endpaper. Otherwise pages are lightly age-toned, clean, smooth and unmarked. Malamud a prominent American novelist and short story writer, was the winner of the Pulitzer Prize in Literature in 1966 for his novel -The Fixer. A New Life was his third novel. An article from the New York Times Magazine section on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of his death, is loosely laid in. Please see all images.
