INSCRBED by Brewer on the upper right corner of the title-page ("7-9-39 To Mrs. Mayme Mitchell Sincerely, J Mason Brewer"). An uncommon book. Also published was a Deluxe Edition of 50 numbered copies signed by Brewer, bound in a somewhat fancier (suede) binding and having a frontis not present in the trade edition.
