Illustrated. 4to. 11" x 7-7/8" Laid in a TNs, on American Committee for Emigr� Scholars letterhead, by Mrs Griffith Baily Cole [signed as "Liz"] to Mrs Stephen Vincent Benet, addressed as "Dearest Rosemary", enclosing an article on "our Committee" as published in "the current July issue of Coronet." Volume cocked, with sunning to spine & extremities. A VG copy with a Good jacket [now in protective mylar], with edge chipping, pieces missing at spine panel ends & tape repairs along spine folds [backside]. Original publisher's light blue cloth binding with dark blue stamping. Dust jacket 1st edition. INSCRIBED PRESENTATION copy from the author to Benet.
