Oblong4to. (30 cm.) unpaged [48p.]. Illustrated with 24 full-page captioned black and white photos of various scenes along the route, many of them with a key which identifies specific sties shown in the photo with ABCs. Also illustrated with period ads many of which contain black and white photos of the building they are advertising, e.g. the Vancouver Sun Building, City Hall, Christ Church Cathedral, and the like. Stapled booklet in color pictorial wrappers with a green cloth spine. Just touches of wear to extremities, wrappers lightly soiled, cloth spine deteriorating, all photos in find condition, once pencil drawing of a car opposite a photo of a similar car, corners square and flat, else very good to near fine with no other internal markings. "The purpose of this guide is to serve as a 'Road Pilot' and visualize for you in advance what the road ahead looks lie. To describe each important link, such as the location of traffic signals, or where a turn is to be made, and under what conditions it should be made. To show where important highway intersections and junctions occur." (from inside the front cover) The first photo is an aerial view looking north into Canada from Blane, Washington which shows a "Peace Arch" in more or less splendid isolation!
