Love Roger Moore" and signed by Lewis Gilbert (Director), Ken Adam (production design), John Barry (composer), and Shirley Bassey (singer of title song). This copy was inscribed for the composer and lyricist Leslie Bricusse and has his additional annotations identifying the inscriptions or signatures. Bricusse (1931-2021) was the lyricist for the Bond songs "Goldfinger" and "You Only Live Twice". His musicals include Stop the World - I Want to Get Off, Doctor Dolittle, Scrooge, and Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. He won two Academy Awards, one Grammy Award, and was awarded the Order of the British Empire. This copy is state B with the correct spelling of the word "shoot" on page 10, line 31. Gilbert A3a (1.2). Octavo. Original black boards, spine and front cover lettered in silver. With dust jacket. Embossed ownership details on front free endpaper. Extremities a little bumped, spot of wear to foot of rear cover, light browning to free endpapers and edges; jacket spine mildly toned as often, extremities a little worn, some browning and staining to reverse, unclipped; a very good copy in like jacket.
