About this Item
Black cloth with gilt titles. Book has minimal wear with light aging. Square and securely bound. Jacket has some edge, corner and surface wear with some chipping. Overall, a solid and attractive copy. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 117 pages; Signed, dated and inscribed on the ffep. There is a second signature on the half-title page that could be printed but also could be authentic. Written by a retired military officer from Montgomery who was living there during the bus boycott, this book provides a contemporary, non-racist white perspective on this important historical event. The book looks like a long poem but is really prose sentences with hanging indents. Rather uncommon book. ; Signed by Author. Seller Inventory # 13536
