INSCRIBED by Sir Thomas Beecham. Blue cloth with gilt titles to spine. In very good condition in decent, intact jacket (evinces heavy edge wear which, alas, is common. Most often jackets totally perished.) Jocular and revealing biography of a musician who clearly was the foundation of music in the Anglican world of early/mid 20th Century. Quite a raconteur but a bit more chronological and friendly in words and recollections here.
