First edition. Large quarto; 315pp., indexed; black cloth, silver spine titles, in dust jacket. Signed and inscribed by Vaughan to the front endpaper. Some light rippling along the fore-edge of textblock, a handful of crimped upper page corners, light tanning to perimeters of leaves. Very good (+) in a fine, unclipped jacket. A year-by-year chronicle of Cunningham's choreography. Profusely illustrated in black-and-white and color, with text by Vaughan, who was the Merce Cunningham Dance Company's archivist for over 30 years.
